Ski School & Ski Rental

Just 100 Meters from Hotel Alpin Juwel

Ski School and Ski Rental in Hinterglemm

Step Outside, Take a Few Steps, and Your Ski Day Begins - On a winter holiday, what matters most is how quickly you hit the slopes. Some are linking their very first turns, others want to refine their carving technique, while some head straight for open powder fields. The 4-star superior Hotel Alpin Juwel, run by the Schwabl family, offers the ideal home base right in the center of Hinterglemm. From the hotel, it is just about 100 meters on foot to the gateway of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. The ski school and rental shop are equally close.

That means no ski shuttles, no hunting for parking spots, and no hauling heavy gear down long village roads. Simply slip into your ski boots at the hotel, walk a few short steps, and start skiing.

Our Partner for Lessons and Equipment: Snow & Fun Hinterglemm

For ski courses and rental gear, we have partnered for many years with the Snow & Fun ski and snowboard school in Hinterglemm. The school is led by Thomas Wolf and former World Cup ski racer Bartl Gensbichler, who was born and raised right here in the valley. Whether you are stepping onto skis for the first time, returning after years away, or fine-tuning your technique, you will find personal instruction in small, focused groups.

What We Offer:

  • Private Lessons: One-on-one coaching at your own pace, whether you want technical drills, carving clinics, or a guided freeride run off-piste.
  • Adult Ski Courses: Small group sizes sorted strictly by ability level, from absolute beginners to expert skiers.
  • Snowboard Lessons: From your first controlled turns to learning tricks in the terrain park, led by instructors who take the time for every rider.
  • Ski Rental and Tuning Service: Current-season gear from leading manufacturers, always waxed with precision-tuned edges. Boots are custom-fitted on-site to ensure lasting comfort from morning until the final run.

Learning to Ski at Snowly Land

A relaxed day matters to everyone, children and parents alike. At Snow & Fun's dedicated Snowly Land, young skiers learn through play while in safe hands. The Mini Snowly program welcomes children aged three to four, while regular kids' ski courses start around age four.

  • Magic carpets and a beginner carousel make those first meters effortless.
  • Bright characters, small obstacle courses, and playful tools keep lessons engaging and fun.
  • A weekly children's ski race where every participant earns a race medal and certificate.
  • Full-day supervision is available upon request, including lunch at the Kids Club, giving parents ample time to explore the entire ski area on their own.
  • Group Lesson Schedule: Sunday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Saturdays are reserved exclusively for private lessons.
